Hi All. We all know that our Australian canned fruit industry doe not compete on a level playing field in domestic or Export markets. Just another example of this are the tariffs applied by China & the EU on imports of canned Peaches are on average 20% while tariffs on imports applied by Australia are 5% or ZERO depending on the source of the Imports,I just hope the Government understands the enormity of the dire situation that is unfolding in front of our eyes.
