If you cannot receive UGFM in these locations please check that you have an antenna connected to the FM Antenna connection of your radio/tuner.

In most areas listed above the UGFM signal can be received with a piece of light guage insulated wire running vertical up the wall away from metal objects about 900mm long. For difficult or poor signal locations you may need an external antenna and thus may need to contact an antenna technician for this to be installed.

UGFM has automatic backup power generators at all transmitters except Flowerdale and Kinglake. In an emergency please use a battery powered radio or car radio to monitor UGFM for warnings!

In an Emergency if power fails in the Flowerdale or Kinglake area try tuning to UGFM's Yea transmitter on 88.9FM, our online stream (icon top UGFM home page) or ABC 774AM, as the UGFM and ABC transmitters for Flowerdale do not currently have a back up power supply.
