The Marysville Marathon Festival features running events of 4 km, 10 km, Half Marathon (21 km), Marathon (42 km) and Ultramarathon (50 km) on scenic valley trails and forest tracks, bypassing sparkling rivers and waterfalls.
The participants travel alongside the Steavenson River and Falls, which supply the world’s second best municipal water as voted (2016), enjoyed at the well-stocked aid stations en route.
Walkers join in the shorter distances. Participants have a great day out, supporting the community recovering from the 2009 bushfires and enjoying the refreshments and family entertainment provided. All finishers receive a medallion and showbag.
We had a great day, welcoming competitors, volunteers and spectators to the 8th running of the RACV Marysville Marathon Festival.
Runners loved the beautiful tracks and views, while hard-working volunteers enjoyed the buzz of registration, selling merchandise, awarding medals, timing, taking photos, preparing food at aid stations, and encouraging runners.
Thanks to all for contributing to a great local event.
