What a weekend we have just had to finish off the school holidays , spring had finally sprung and the fish have started to move and get on the bite .

The pondage had some nice rainbow and brown trout taking powerbait , maggots ,mudeyes , scrub worms on the bottom and under a float . Black Magic Rattle Shack lures in tiger , copper and lumo/lime have been taking the rainbows in both pondage and the Goulburn , Wonder kros and pink tassies haveĀ also taken fish , the bridge , burke st and cemetery point are all worth having a look at .

The Rubicon has seen some small browns taking shallow hard bodies and spinners . Yellow Belly are out and about with some very nice catches around Taylor Bay around to Italian bay , scrub worms , yabbies , stump jumper lures and even Tassie devils are also working . Murry Cod over a metre are being caught from jews creek to big river on surface lures and large hard bodies casting towards the bank and around the structure . Trout are still about but are starting to go deeper , so trolling sinkers , lead line or paravanes would help to get the tassies down , deap divers would also be worth a shot . With the Boating and Fishing show on this weekend there will be a lot of extra traffic on the local roads so be patient and drive carefully .

Until next week Fish Hard
Cheers Craig
